RACIAL EQUITY LEARNING COMMUNITY
At Trinity Boston Foundation, Racial Equity Awareness & Learning is core to our mission, our organizational approach and our program objectives for Boston’s Youth of Color. Systemic Racism and White Supremacy Culture hurt everyone. Racial trauma creates real life consequences and in order to engage Boston’s Youth of Color effectively, Trinity Boston Foundation is committed to establishing racially equitable policies and processes that propel people along their journey towards racial equity.
Our goal is to help create a community where organizations can come together and learn specific practices involved in being racially equitable, in such areas as hiring, fundraising, power structures, and program development/execution. Our intention is to create a space where we can build relationships and share promising practices and challenges freely and without judgment -- none of us are experts, and we can all learn from each other. There is tremendous power in shared learning and growth!
